These tools address fatigue, safety, and efficiency like no other lathe tools on the market. Designed to be kept flat on the tool rest, level to the floor and pushed straight into your work, these tools will effortlessly hog away massive amounts of wood. No intimidating cutting angles to learn and remember-cuts left, right and straight in without changing approach angle. This simple approach to turning allows you to learn and master woodturning in no time. All tools have American Hickory handles that are 4" longer (20" total) than the other full size tools providing much greater leverage significantly reducing fatigue. Solid CNC machined stainless steel tool bars are 9-1/2" long and 1/2" square. Overall length of these tools is 28-1/2". The Rougher accepts 3 different proprietary carbide cutters: Ci1-R2 (2" radius), Ci1-R4 (4" radius), or the Ci1-SQ (no radius), and comes loaded with a Ci1-R4 cutter. The Finisher comes loaded with a round Ci0 carbide cutter. Detailer comes loaded with a diamond Ci4 cutter. These carbide cutters have multiple sharp sides and are easily rotated to expose new sharp edges. You will never need to stop turning and sharpen again! Cutters are specially designed with the optimal grind, geometry and grade of carbide to excel at woodturning. Tools are available individually or in a three (3) piece set.
