Rather than buy and replace an entire backer pad, use one of these cost-effective 3M protector pads instead. Simply stick a protector pad to the hook and loop pad on your sander and allow all the wear and tear to be on the protector pad instead of your sander. The protector pad also provides additional cushioning allowing the sander to conform to slight imperfections in the wood surface producing a better finish.
