In addition to solid wood, the HSS-G wood twist drills are also perfect for Acrylic/Plexiglass, Corian, Polycarbonate, PVC, and more. The High Speed Steel construction stays sharper longer, even when exposed to excessive heat. Dual optimized spurs ensure fast and easy cutting of the wood fibers before the hole is drilled. Beveled edge leads to a perfect drilling of the diameter without any deviation. The ground center point prevents the drill bit from walking across the material surface. Superior double-flute design improves chip extraction. Set includes the following sizes: 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, and 12 mm. Overall lengths range from 2-1/2" to 6". Larger bits do not have reduced shanks.
