These precision 2-piece combination squares are perfect for project/part layout, machine setup, determining level/plumb, or as a depth, height, or marking gauge. This type of square is widely used by metal and woodworkers alike. They are manufactured in accordance with the derived tolerances from FEDERAL SPECIFICATION NO. GGG-S-656c and guaranteed to be square to within 0.005" (five thousandths of an inch) over the length of the 12" blade and 0.004" over the lenght of the 6" blade. 

Blades: Have a hardened and tempered no-glare satin chrome-finished steel blade. Blade markings are precision laser-etched for easy readability. Graduations are in 1/64ths, 1/32nds, 1/16ths, and 1/8ths. The blades measures 12” x 1” x 0.080” and 6” x 0.800” x 0.085”. 

Square head: Precision machined and lapped cast iron head with a black baked-on finish contains an integrated spirit level and hardened steel scribe. The 12" head is is 5” x 3-5/8” x 3/4” and the 6" is 3-3/8” x 2-3/8” x 5/8”. 

Complete set comes packaged in a plastic case with foam cutouts.
